Purpose and remit of UKC3
The main purpose of UKC3 is to develop and grow the UK’s cyber security ecosystem and drive related economic growth by tapping into the opportunities created through cyber cluster collaboration.
We are currently focused on supporting activities across three key areas with working groups established covering:
UKC3 supports new and emerging cyber clusters, creating a collaborative cyber cluster community across the UK. It also helps building relationships with the wider UK cyber ecosystem by connecting with key sectors across the UK and Internationally.
UKC3 champions activities aimed at supporting cyber skills growth, working with industry, academia and other skills or talent development organisations to promote cyber skills development and the attractiveness of careers in the cyber security industry.
UKC3 supports regional cyber clusters in their delivery of this vision in line with the UK Cyber Cluster Operating Framework including providing opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange and sharing best practice identified at regional or national level.
UKC3 encourages clusters to work together for identifying opportunities for regional and ultimately national growth, working across public, private sectors and academia towards this end.
Principles of UKC3
