ABOUT US

What is UKC3?

UK Cyber Cluster Collaboration (UKC3) supports cyber clusters to drive growth of the cyber sector within their nations and regions, encouraging greater collaboration across the UK’s cyber ecosystem.

Cyber security is a rapidly growing sector and a key enabler of technological advancement, supporting economic growth and protecting UK plc.

UKC3 promotes collaboration, knowledge exchange and sharing of best practice between cyber clusters in order to develop the ecosystem, promote innovation and grow cyber skills. We look for opportunities to join-up across the UK to amplify the impact clusters are making locally into something nationally significant.

Purpose and remit of UKC3

The main purpose of UKC3 is to develop and grow the UK’s cyber security ecosystem and drive related economic growth by tapping into the opportunities created through cyber cluster collaboration.

We are currently focused on supporting activities across three key areas with working groups established covering:

Ecosystem development

Cyber skills growth

UKC3 supports regional cyber clusters in their delivery of this vision in line with the UK Cyber Cluster Operating Framework including providing opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange and sharing best practice identified at regional or national level.

UKC3 encourages clusters to work together for identifying opportunities for regional and ultimately national growth, working across public, private sectors and academia towards this end.
