CyberNorth is the cyber security cluster for North East England. Its purpose is to support the growth and development of the cyber security sector in the region.
CyberNorth’s main role is to create opportunities to bring the community together, encourage progressive collaboration and to help establish the region as a centre of excellence for the cyber security industry. We do this by focusing on 4 areas:
- Raising awareness of cyber security regionally, nationally and internationally
- Helping new and existing local businesses to grow
- Addressing gaps in skills and experiences
- Creating a strongly connected and collaborative cyber security community
