The events\, which will be held in conjunction with professional bodies and membership organisations throughout the region\, are designed to help non-cyber companies understand the threats cyber issues in the supply chain can have on their businesses\, and give them the tools to try to mitigate these risks. From why we need strong supply chains to real life examples of what happens when we don’t the day will be an opportunity to discuss how they can tackled this and where to go from here. If you know of any customers who would be interested in attending one of these courses please let them know. \nThe half day workshop\, is now open for bookings. The North East has the highest number of unemployed ex-forces people of any English region. \nThanks to support from the Department for Science\, Innovation and Technology ( DSIT) CyberNorth is in a position to support five ex-military personnel into meaningful cyber employment by providing a year long subsidy to employers\, offsetting some of the cost of employment and reducing the risk to the employer. \nFind out more about this exciting initiative and how you can become involved at this event. \nLocation: Online via Zoom (the event will be recorded as well) \n
