SUMMARY:Hampshire & Sussex Cyber Cluster: The Anatomy of a Ransomware Attack
DESCRIPTION:This event will walk through common access methods that are being used by both Ransomware Actors and Kids to cause devastation to IT systems.  Importantly\, focus will go into the steps that lead to the attacks being successful.  The workshop will look at both technical and social engineering techniques that lead to systems being compromised. \nThe workshop will then focus on the defensive measures that can be deployed in an organisation – which are not all technical – and can help reduce the chances of suffering these kinds of attack.
