UKC3 has an essential role to play in being the single point of access to the nationwide cyber ecosystem whilst representing clusters for each of their individual and unique offers specific to their geography and economic focus.
What is the UKC3 approach?
UKC3’s unwavering dedication lies in driving connectivity, economic growth, and innovation within the cybersecurity sector, as the nation’s central hub for both public and private organisations. Our mission is to empower and unite Cyber Clusters, fostering strategic collaborations and facilitating the exchange of knowledge, resources, and best practices.
We are currently focused on supporting activities across three key areas with working groups established covering:
Ecosystem Development Working Group
The Ecosystem Development Working Group supports new and emerging cyber clusters, creating a collaborative cyber cluster community across the UK. It also helps building relationships with the wider UK cyber ecosystem by connecting with key sectors across the UK and Internationally.
Innovation Join-Up Working Group
The Innovation Join-Up Working Group supports regional cyber clusters in their delivery of this vision in line with the UK Cyber Cluster Operating Framework including providing opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange and sharing best practice identified at regional or national level.
Skills working group
This working group champions activities aimed at supporting cyber skills growth, working with industry, academia and other skills or talent development organisations to promote cyber skills development and the attractiveness of careers in the cyber security industry.
